Wordscapes

Developed by PeopleFun, Wordscapes is the #1 Word Game on iOS and Android. When building the App Store images, key selling points I wanted to emphasize were the brain-training aspects, the unique mechanics, and lastly the elements of relaxation that were promoted in the product’s imagery.

 

Clockmaker

Keeping in line with the storytelling in Belka’s “Clockmaker” title, I chose to incorporate themes of mystery & suspense in these App Store Screenshots. The results were immensely positive, with the data indicating there was a 9% performance lift with the new images.

 

Ancient Battles

Ancient Battles is a mid-core leaning PVP title with more complex armor and character upgrades than your typical casual game. For this title I wanted to appeal to the gamer motivations of competition, mastery, and customization.

 

Rebranding

I was approached by one of our clients that requested a design re-haul for their mobile title “1-2-3-4”. After doing a comparative analysis of other products in the app store, I was able to pluck out screenshots from a variety of popular games and build out a 3 mood boards to better understand the client’s aspirations and carve out my design path.

Once we were aligned on the overall mood, “Vibrant”, I went to work developing 4 different stylistic approaches. identify key opportunities both by offering improvements to their color palette, in-game themes, as well as visual feedback to bolster user satisfaction.
